CAIRO, NY — A Rochester woman has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of her 3-year-old daughter.
Farhiya M. Gaal, 26, of Rochester, was arrested by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and charged with second-degree manslaughter, a class C felony.
The charge stems from an investigation into the death of Fay Mohamed.
Gaal was arraigned before Town of Cairo Court Judge VanDenburgh and remanded to the Greene County Jail without bail.
