Two arrested on drug charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — Two people were arrested on drug and weapon charges after police found them passed out in a vehicle at an intersection on the city’s east side.

Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Second Platoon responded to a check well-being call at approximately 5 p.m. on March 1, 2026.

Upon arrival, officers identified the individuals as Christopher J. Light, the vehicle’s operator, and Aimee L. Hogg.

Police said both Light and Hogg were found in possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl and plastic knuckles.

Light was also determined to be operating the vehicle while under the influence of drugs, according to police.

Both individuals were transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident.

Light was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd degree, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree, driving while ability impaired and various traffic infractions.

Hogg was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree and criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree.

Both were held at Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
