MANCHESTER, NH — Police are investigating a report of a suspicious person who approached a middle school student Wednesday afternoon.
A student from Southside Middle School was approached by an individual in a silver vehicle after getting off a school bus in the Beech Hill Avenue area on March 4, 2026, according to police.
The individual attempted to lure the child into the vehicle, police said.
The student quickly left the area and was not harmed.
The suspect was described as a Black male wearing a mask covering the bottom half of his face.
The Manchester School District notified families of the incident and instructed bus drivers to remain vigilant and watch for suspicious activity.
