BOSTON, MA — Police are seeking a Cambridge man wanted in connection with multiple assaults and an attempted theft near TD Garden.
Detectives assigned to District A-1 have obtained multiple arrest warrants for Seitu Morel, 32, of Cambridge.
On Wednesday, March 4, at approximately 3:19 p.m., officers assigned to District A-1 responded to a radio call reporting an assault and battery in progress at 226 Causeway Street.
Upon arrival, officers learned that Morel had allegedly assaulted several students from a nearby school during dismissal.
Following the assault, Morel reportedly walked onto a charter bus near TD Garden and attempted to steal a bag that had been left unattended while bus passengers were attending the Boston Celtics game.
Arrest warrants have also been issued for Morel in connection with a separate assault and battery and unarmed robbery that occurred on February 25 at 1912 Beacon Street in Brighton.
