CUMBERLAND, RI — A Pawtucket man was arrested early Thursday on an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop.
Troopers arrested Augusto Cruz Herrera, 51, of Pawtucket, at 12:05 a.m. on an affidavit and arrest warrant for violation of a court order originating from the Pawtucket Police Department.
The arrest occurred during a motor vehicle stop on John Street.
Herrera was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.

WARWICK, RI — A Providence man faces weapons charges following an early morning traffic stop Thursday on Route 95.
Troopers arrested Michael Charvez, 25, of Providence, at 2:15 a.m.
He was charged with carrying a pistol or revolver without a license or permit and possession of large capacity feeding devices prohibited.
Charvez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending arraignment at Third Division District Court.
