SUDBURY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a 59-year-old man on multiple charges following a domestic disturbance on Burr Pond Road.
Carl Anderson, of Sudbury, was taken into custody on March 4, 2026, at his residence without incident.
Police responded to a residence on Burr Pond Road on March 3, 2026, for a report of a domestic disturbance involving a 57-year-old Sudbury woman.
Anderson had left the residence before police arrived.
An investigation led to probable cause being developed to arrest Anderson on charges of domestic assault, unlawful restraint, violation of conditions of release and criminal driving with a suspended license.
Anderson was transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Rutland Criminal Division on March 5, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.
Anderson was issued court-ordered conditions of release.
