Man arrested on disorderly conduct charge in South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested a South Windsor man following a domestic violence incident that resulted in minor injuries.

David J. Kamm, 49, of South Windsor, was taken into custody at 5:53 p.m. on March 3 after police determined he attempted to take the victim’s phone away, causing minor physical injury in the process.

Kamm was issued a misdemeanor summons and released on scene.

He appeared in Manchester Superior Court on March 4 at 9 a.m.

In a separate incident, police arrested a Hartford man on an active arrest warrant on March 4 at 6:59 a.m.

Praxedes Hernandez, 53, of Hartford, faces an operating under the influence charge stemming from an October motor vehicle accident in which he was the operator of a vehicle that rolled over in the area of Cedar Avenue and Evergreen Way.

During the investigation, police believed Hernandez was under the influence of alcohol.

Hernandez turned himself in at police headquarters and was processed and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on March 23 at 9 a.m.

Police also arrested a South Windsor man on March 4 at 10:55 p.m. after determining he harassed a victim in violation of a protective order.

Andrew C. Lafferty, 54, of South Windsor, was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court today at 9 a.m.
