MARLBOROUGH, NY — New York State Police announced the arrest of a Nebraska man on a felony child pornography charge.
Colin Sutton, 22, of Lincoln, Nebraska, was charged with Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child Under 16 Years of Age, a Class E felony.
The investigation began in January 2025 after the State Police Internet Crimes against Children Taskforce received a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The investigation was conducted by the Troop F Computer Crimes Unit, the Troop F BCI at Highland, and the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce.
The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant for electronic devices at Sutton’s former residence in the Town of Marlborough.
Sutton was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Marlborough Court on March 3, 2026, at 6 p.m.
