HASTINGS, PA — A man wanted in connection with a stolen vehicle case turned himself in to police.
Michael Michalides, of Johnstown, surrendered to Hastings Borough police after an arrest warrant was issued.
The warrant stemmed from a stolen vehicle incident that occurred in the borough in December 2024.
Police recovered DNA evidence from the stolen vehicle during their investigation.
The DNA profile was analyzed and positively identified as belonging to Michalides, according to police.
Michalides was recently released from SCI Mercer prior to the incident.
