MOREAU, NY — A Gansevoort man was arrested on drunken driving charges following a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash at 11:53 p.m. on Gansevoort Road.
Brian M. Hockford, 23, of Gansevoort, was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater, both unclassified misdemeanors.
Hockford is accused of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of 0.11%.
He was allegedly operating a 2016 Dodge pickup truck traveling north on Gansevoort Road when he exited the roadway due to slippery pavement.
The vehicle struck a utility pole, mailbox and garbage can.
No other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported.
Hockford was released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in Moreau Town Court.
