Man arrested on drug charges in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, PA — Police arrested three people at a motel early Wednesday after discovering a stolen vehicle and narcotics.

Lower Swatara Township Police Officers were conducting a routine patrol of the Hollywood Motel at approximately 12:50 a.m. on March 4, 2026 when they located a stolen vehicle from Cumberland County.

Officers reviewed camera footage to identify which room the occupants entered and checked motel records to determine who rented the room.

The room was rented by Joshua M. Gianquitto, 36, of Pennsylvania, who matched the description of the male driving the vehicle.

Gianquitto had an outstanding warrant for EBT fraud.

Police had the stolen vehicle towed and observed several people, including Gianquitto, looking out the windows of the room.

Officers made entry into the room and arrested Gianquitto.

Police found narcotics and drug paraphernalia inside the room.

Two females were also located in the room and identified as Lesley Garcia, of Harrisburg, and Emily Ruballos-Lemus, of Gardners.

Garcia had a warrant for narcotic-related offenses.

Ruballos-Lemus had warrants for retail theft, flight to avoid apprehension and child endangerment-related charges.

Gianquitto was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while suspended.

Garcia was charged with possession of paraphernalia.

Ruballos-Lemus was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.

All three were transported to the Dauphin County Central Booking Center.
