PORTLAND, PA — A Pennsylvania man was arrested following a shooting that left a man injured in the Hazelwood neighborhood.
On Tuesday at 9:11 p.m., Portland Police Bureau officers were dispatched to a hospital in Southeast Portland on a report of a walk-in gunshot victim.
Hospital staff reported the adult male had sustained at least one gunshot wound.
The victim, whose injuries were non-life-threatening, was stable, alert, and able to speak with officers.
While officers were at the hospital, they learned of a possible shooting scene in the area of Southeast 96th Avenue.
Officers responded to locate a potential crime scene and developed information identifying a suspect as Maquann D. Roseman, 31, of Portland.
Officers established containment at a residence in the 2100 block of Southeast 96th Avenue.
Roseman exited the residence and was taken into custody at 11:32 p.m.
Roseman was transported to the Multnomah County Detention Center and lodged on the following charges: Attempted Murder in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, Attempted Assault in the First Degree, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
The Portland Police Bureau’s Enhanced Community Safety Team responded to the residence on Southeast 96th Avenue to investigate, and that investigation is ongoing.
