KEENE, NH — A serious motor vehicle collision between a sedan and a tractor-trailer is under investigation after occurring Wednesday morning on Route 10.
Keene Police responded to the scene north of the Route 9 intersection at approximately 8:40 a.m.
The collision involved a 2016 Ford Focus sedan driven by Bradley Clough, 42, of Keene, and a 2023 Mack tractor-trailer driven by Kyle Ayres, 50, of Leicester, Massachusetts.
Preliminary investigation indicates the northbound Ford Focus crossed the center line into the southbound lane and collided with the southbound tractor-trailer.
Both drivers were transported to Cheshire Medical Center for medical care.
Clough was subsequently airlifted to UMass for advanced treatment of injuries sustained in the collision.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation by the Keene Police Department Collision Analysis Team.
