PROVIDENCE, RI — A Pawtucket man was arrested on two outstanding warrants following a traffic stop Tuesday morning.
Thierry Dias, 34, of Pawtucket, was taken into custody at 10:42 a.m. on Valley Street.
State Police said Dias was wanted on a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance, stemming from an original charge by the Lincoln Police Department.
He also had a second Providence Superior Court bench warrant for unlawful breaking or entering, originating from the Central Falls Police Department.
Dias was transported to State Police headquarters for processing.
He was later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men’s Intake Center.
