WORCESTER, NY — A 20-year-old woman was arrested on drunken driving charges following a property damage motor vehicle accident Feb. 25, 2026.
Zoya A. Eckler, of East Worcester, was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol under 21, driving with .08 of 1% or more alcohol in blood, moved from lane unsafely, failed to keep right, improper tires, improper rear windshield, operating without insurance and leaving the scene of a property damage motor vehicle accident.
The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office investigated the property damage motor vehicle accident in the town.
Eckler was located in the vicinity of the accident and found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated while being under 21 years of age, according to police.
She was processed and released with uniform traffic tickets and appearance tickets.
Eckler is set to appear in Worcester Town Court at a later date.
