Two arrested on grand larceny charge in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, VT — Vermont State Police arrested two men in connection with the theft of propane tanks from a local market.

Troopers from the Williston Barracks received a report of a theft at the Cambridge Village Market at approximately 6:14 p.m. on Feb. 15, 2026.

Numerous propane tanks were found to have been stolen from the market.

On Feb. 26, 2026, troopers from the Williston Barracks and wardens from Vermont Fish and Wildlife executed a search warrant at a residence on Westford-Milton Road in Westford.

Through investigation, troopers developed probable cause that Charles Blondin, 59, of Westford, and Chad Limoge, 38, of Westford, committed the crime of grand larceny.

The two individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Williston Barracks for processing.

Per the order of the court, they were issued conditions of release and a citation ordering them to appear in Lamoille County Criminal Court on March 4 at 12:30 p.m.
