HYANNIS, MA — A motor vehicle accident involving a Barnstable Police cruiser and two other vehicles occurred at the intersection of Falmouth Road Route 28 and Bearses Way on Friday.
The crash happened at approximately 10:40 p.m.
Hyannis Fire and Rescue responded to the scene.
Two people refused medical treatment at the scene.
Three people were transported to Cape Cod Hospital.
Cape Cod Hospital was briefly placed on a trauma alert as a result of the accident.
The Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating the motor vehicle accident.
