WESTMINSTER, VT — A 41-year-old man was arrested on a domestic assault charge following a disturbance on Valentine’s Day.
Deputies with the Windham County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Westminster on Feb. 14, 2026, for a reported domestic disturbance.
An investigation revealed Christopher Turco, of Westminster, committed domestic assault against a co-habitant, according to Deputy Thomas Raymond and Detective Sergeant Mario Checchi.
Turco was arrested and processed at the Windham County Sheriff’s Office.
He was held at Southern State Correctional Facility until sober.
Turco was issued a criminal citation to appear before the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division, on Feb. 17, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.
