CRANSTON, RI — A 44-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges related to a stolen motor vehicle.
Emery Lema, of Cranston, was taken into custody on Feb. 26, 2026, by members of the Auto Theft Task Force and the ACI Investigations Unit.
Lema faces charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, possession of a motor vehicle with altered VIN, forgery and false statement to obtain a registration.
He was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed.
Lema was turned over to officials in Third Division District Court for arraignment.
