TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A 52-year-old man was arrested on drug charges following a months-long investigation by the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force.
Daryl L. Jackson was arrested on the evening of Feb. 24, 2026, at the Julliet Billiard Café on Raymond Avenue.
Drug Task Force agents identified Jackson as an alleged drug dealer operating out of a residence on Jean Drive in the Spackenkill area and other locations, according to the district attorney’s office.
Agents made several drug purchases from Jackson throughout the investigation.
Jackson was found in possession of a large quantity of narcotics packaged for sale at the time of his arrest at the billiard café.
Drug Task Force agents executed a search warrant at 15 Jean Drive shortly after the arrest, where additional evidence of drug sales was seized.
The Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department and the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office assisted at both scenes.
Jackson was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, both class B felonies.
Additional charges are pending against Jackson related to the investigation.
Jackson was arraigned in Town of Poughkeepsie Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center without bail.
