Man arrested on assault charge in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, PA — Police arrested a local man on assault charges after he allegedly fled the scene of a domestic incident at a plumbing business.

Christopher Patrick Murray, 62, of Middletown, was charged with simple assault and harassment following an incident on Feb. 25, 2026.

Lower Swatara Township Police were dispatched to Murray’s Plumbing on Tioga Avenue at approximately 6:31 p.m. for a reported domestic assault.

Murray had fled in a company truck before officers arrived, according to police.

Officers tracked the vehicle using a GPS device and located Murray in Steelton, where he was arrested.

Murray was transported to the Dauphin County Central Booking Center for processing and arraignment.
