ST. ALBANS, VT — Vermont State Police detectives investigated an assault between two inmates at Northwest State Correctional Facility.
Anthony Fitzgerald, 34, allegedly assaulted Corey Moquin, 40, causing bodily injury on Feb. 6, 2026.
Detectives were notified of the incident on Feb. 9, 2026.
Both men are incarcerated at the facility.
Fitzgerald was issued a citation to appear at Franklin County Superior Court Criminal Division on April 14, 2026, at 8 a.m.
He was charged with simple assault.
