MORTON, PA — A former Morton police officer faces criminal charges stemming from incidents that allegedly occurred years ago when he was a teenager.
Francis Collier was placed on unpaid administrative leave in December 2025 after the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office contacted the Morton Police Department regarding an investigation.
Collier resigned from the department on Dec. 19, 2025.
The Pennsylvania State Attorney General’s Office filed criminal charges against Collier on Feb. 24.
Police said there have been no allegations of criminal conduct against Collier during his time as a Morton police officer.
