CRANSTON, RI — Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect after a smash-and-grab burglary was reported early Tuesday morning at a Citgo gas station on Pontiac Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene at about 6:28 a.m., after a passerby noticed the glass front door had been broken.
According to police, a white male approximately 30 to 35 years old is suspected of breaking into the business and stealing cash and cigarettes.
The suspect was described as wearing an olive green bomber-style jacket, a brown or tan camouflage hoodie, grey pants, a tan winter hat, and a blue cross-body satchel worn on the front of his torso under his jacket.
No arrests have been made.
