ROXBURY, MA — A man was arrested on drug trafficking charges after police recovered 150 grams of fentanyl during a search warrant execution Saturday.
Freudy Guerrero-LaChapel, 25, of Roxbury, was arrested by officers assigned to the Drug Control Units of District B-2, C-11 and the Citywide DCU.
Police applied for and were granted two search warrants following numerous community complaints of illegal drug distribution in the Grove Hall area of Roxbury.
The warrants targeted Guerrero-LaChapel and 16 Waumbeck St.
Officers recovered 150 grams of fentanyl, drug packaging material, two cell phones and approximately $64 in U.S. currency during the search.
Guerrero-LaChapel is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on charges of trafficking of Class A, 100-199 grams, and distribution of Class A.
