SCOTRUN, PA — Police are searching for a man wanted on multiple charges including assault and drug possession following an incident at a resort in December.
Matthew Gaddy, 35, of New York, New York, is wanted on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, simple assault, resisting arrest, obstruction of justice, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
On Dec. 7, 2024, at 8 p.m., officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to Great Wolf Lodge for a report of a fight.
Upon arrival, officers observed Gaddy in the lobby.
During the investigation, police determined Gaddy had been involved in a physical altercation with family members before officers arrived.
Officers attempted to make contact with Gaddy when a physical altercation ensued.
Police said Gaddy was found to have a large amount of crack cocaine.
Gaddy was arrested and taken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility.
An arrest warrant was issued on June 2.
