BALLSTON, NY — A Schenectady man was arrested Thursday on a warrant charging him with grand larceny in the third degree.
Wazim M. Sookhai, 36, of Schenectady, is accused of stealing more than $3,000 from another person in December 2022, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
The charge is a class D felony.
Sookhai was arraigned before Judge Timothy M. Brown in Milton Town Court and released on his own recognizance pending further proceedings in Ballston Town Court.
Police have not released any more information at this time.
