BRIDPORT, VT — A single-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Lake Road and Middle Road on Feb. 20, 2026.
Troopers responded to the scene at approximately 3:03 p.m.
Investigation revealed the vehicle was traveling west on Middle Road and attempted to turn left onto Lake Street while traveling too fast for the snow-covered road conditions.
The vehicle then left the southbound lane of Lake Street and struck a tree.
The operator was identified as Savannah Brown, 27, of Bridport.
Brown was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
The 2020 Toyota Corolla sustained front-end contact damage.
No court action was taken.
