DORCHESTER, MA — A Boston man was arrested Wednesday on drug trafficking charges after police recovered more than half a kilogram of narcotics during a search warrant execution.
Armando Travieso, 51, of Boston, was taken into custody by officers assigned to the Citywide and B-2 Roxbury Drug Control Units.
Police executed search warrants at 7 Intervale Street in Dorchester as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Officers recovered approximately 539 grams of fentanyl, 78 grams of cocaine and about $15,582 in U.S. currency during the search.
Travieso is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of trafficking of Class A fentanyl, trafficking of Class B cocaine and possession with intent to distribute Class B crack cocaine.
