LINCOLN, RI — A Providence man was arrested on an outstanding warrant Friday afternoon.
Tomas Reyes Torres, 57, of Providence, was taken into custody at 3:10 p.m. by state troopers.
The arrest warrant out of the Lincoln Woods Barracks charged Torres with larceny under $1,500, obstructing an officer in the execution of duty and disorderly conduct.
The arrest resulted from an investigation conducted by state troopers and the Smithfield Police Department.
Torres was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
He was released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
