PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested early Sunday on a domestic violence warrant following a traffic stop.
Micardo Nazaire, 33, of Providence, was taken into custody at 2:08 a.m. on Grove Street.
State Police troopers arrested Nazaire on an affidavit and arrest warrant for domestic violence – simple assault and battery originating from the Woonsocket Police Department.
Nazaire was transported to State Police headquarters where he was processed.
He was later turned over to the Woonsocket Police Department.
