Two-vehicle crash reported in Eden

EDEN, VT — Vermont State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 100 at the intersection of Blakeville Road on Feb. 18, 2026, at 1:43 p.m.

Brooke Therrien, 18, of Eden, was traveling north on Route 100 when Brent Jones, 57, of Belvidere, pulled off Blakeville Road in an attempt to turn south onto Route 100 in front of her vehicle, according to police.

Both vehicles collided and Therrien’s vehicle overturned.

Therrien was driving a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek that sustained damage to the front end and driver’s side.

Jones was driving a 2005 Subaru Forester that sustained damage to the front passenger side.

Therrien sustained suspected minor injuries.

No major injuries were reported in the crash.

Both operators were wearing seat belts.

Troopers from the Williston Barracks were assisted on scene by members of the North Hyde Park/Eden Fire Department, Northern EMS and Daniel’s Towing.

Weather and road conditions were clear at the time of the crash.
