TROY, NY — Two city residents were arrested Wednesday following a traffic stop that resulted in the seizure of a firearm and illegal drugs.
Troy Police Department patrol officers conducted the traffic stop in the South Troy area at approximately 6 p.m.
William R. Bott III, 36, of Troy, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, driving without a license and a motor vehicle equipment violation.
Janelle T. Carrigan, 33, of Troy, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
