PORTLAND, ME — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured early Thursday morning.
Officers responded to 9 Dana Street at 1:03 a.m. for a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police determined that an altercation had occurred outside the establishment.
A 32-year-old man was shot in the leg during the incident.
He was transported to Maine Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers searched the area but were unable to locate a suspect.
Witnesses described the suspect as a white man in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a scruffy beard, wearing jeans and a gray hoodie.
