AUGUSTA, ME — Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man connected to an ongoing investigation.
The Augusta Police Department released a photo of the individual Wednesday as part of its weekly community alert program.
Authorities did not disclose the nature of the incident under investigation, citing the need to protect the integrity of the case.
Police said investigations can involve various offenses including assault, hit and run, credit card fraud, forgery or theft.
The department acknowledged the photo quality may be limited but said investigators are working with available evidence.
