TUPPER LAKE, NY — A man was charged with menacing and weapon possession following an altercation on Church Street.
Robert G. Weeks, 67, of Tupper Lake, was charged with Menacing in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree on Feb. 15, 2026.
New York State Police responded to Church Street in the Village of Tupper Lake at approximately 9:53 p.m. for a reported menacing complaint.
An investigation determined that Weeks and the victim were involved in a verbal argument.
During the altercation, Weeks allegedly brandished a knife while making threatening remarks.
Weeks was located by law enforcement and transported to SP Tupper Lake for processing.
He was later released on appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Tupper Lake Court at a later date in February.
