LINCOLN, RI — Police are investigating a shooting at Lincoln Mall on Feb. 17, 2026.
Officers responded to the area at approximately 9:42 p.m. for a report of gunshots being fired.
Multiple individuals reported hearing gunshots, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
No victims or injuries have been reported.
Preliminary information suggests this was not a random act of violence, but rather an isolated incident involving individuals who were together at the time of the discharge, police said.
All parties involved appear to have left the area prior to police arrival.
No victims have come forward.
The matter remains under active investigation by the Lincoln Police Department.
