SOUTHBOROUGH, MA — A Worcester man faces multiple charges including operating under the influence and child endangerment after a traffic stop Saturday evening.

Southborough Police Detective Anthony Vega stopped a vehicle with a defective headlight at the intersection of Marlboro and Sears roads around 6:55 p.m. Feb. 14.

Officers detected a strong odor of alcohol emanating from the driver, later identified as Honorio Lisboa Jr., 42, of Worcester.

The vehicle had three passengers: two small children in rear-facing car seats in the backseat and an adult female in the passenger seat.

Lisboa was parked in a private driveway and did not possess a valid driver’s license.

He provided police with a name and social security number, but Detective Vega determined through Registry of Motor Vehicles records that the information was for a different person.

Southborough Police Officers Theodore Davis and Joseph DeLuca arrived on the scene to assist.

Officers observed that Lisboa had glassy eyes and slurred speech.

Detective Vega performed an inventory search of the vehicle and discovered three empty nip bottles, two opened Fireball nips and three sealed Heineken bottles.

Lisboa eventually provided his real name and birthdate during booking, revealing an outstanding warrant out of Polk County, Florida.

Lisboa was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, child endangerment while OUI, operation of a motor vehicle with a license suspended, motor vehicle operator refusing to identify self, possession of an open container of alcohol, trespass with motor vehicle, motor vehicle lights violation, license not in possession, failure to notify RMV of name/address change and fugitive from justice on court warrant.

On Feb. 15, Lisboa was transported to the Worcester House of Correction, pending arraignment Tuesday in Westborough District Court.
