NEW LONDON, CT — Police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on Connecticut Avenue on Sunday.
Gregory Williams, 42, of New London, was shot on Connecticut Avenue between Prest Street and MacDonald Street at approximately 7:19 p.m. Sunday.
Next of kin has been notified.
The New London Police Department Detective Division is actively pursuing all leads in the case.
