Two arrested on drug charges in Richmond

RICHMOND, RI — Two Massachusetts men were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on Route 95 South on Sunday.

Troopers arrested Reginald Accimeus, 44, of Hyde Park, Massachusetts, at 11:18 a.m.

He was charged with manufacture/sell/possess with intent manufacture/sell Schedule I/II fentanyl 1oz-1kg first offense, manufacture/deliver/possess with intent manufacture/deliver Schedule I/II controlled substance first offense, and conspiracy drug felony less than five years.

Troopers also arrested Lucas Sencque, 38, of Weymouth, Massachusetts, at 11:18 a.m. on the same charges.

Both men were transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where they were processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.

They were later transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.

In a separate incident, troopers arrested Helder B. Resendes, 57, of West Warwick, at 11:52 p.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on Route 95 North in Exeter.

Resendes was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor B.A.C. unknown second offense and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

He was held overnight pending morning arraignment at Fourth Division District Court.
