NEWARK, NJ — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 13-year-old girl.
Ashley Vargas, of Newark, was last seen on Sunday near South 9th Street and Central Avenue, according to Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr.
She is described as Hispanic, 5 feet tall and 115 pounds.
She was wearing black pants and a black sweater when last seen.
Anyone with information about Vargas’s whereabouts is asked to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-695-8477.
Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the Police Division’s website at npd.newarkpublicsafety.org.
