Man arrested on multiple charges in Stillwater

STILLWATER, NY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance call Sunday at 3:49 a.m. on DiDonna Lane.

An investigation led to the arrest of Cody A. Farr, 24, of Saratoga Springs.

Farr was charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, aggravated family offense, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, petit larceny and harassment in the second degree.

Criminal contempt in the first degree and aggravated family offense are class E felonies.

Criminal mischief in the fourth degree, criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and petit larceny are class A misdemeanors.

Harassment in the second degree is a violation.

Farr is accused of violating an order of protection by subjecting the protected person to unlawful physical contact and of committing a specified offense under the statute having previously been convicted of a specified offense within the immediately preceding five years.

He is also accused of taking the victim’s phone from her while she was attempting to call 911 for assistance and of leaving the scene with it.

Farr was arraigned before the Honorable Edward Richardson in Stillwater Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
