HANOVER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police arrested a man on multiple charges including burglary, strangulation and assault following an early morning incident on Graham Avenue.
Nicholas Brian Lynch, 37, of Pittston, was taken into custody after officers responded to a reported assault at 2:25 a.m. on Feb. 15, 2026.
Police said Lynch entered a residence and assaulted two individuals before fleeing the scene.
He was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault, strangulation and harassment.
Lynch was transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility, where he was arraigned by District Magistrate Tupper.
He was denied bail.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 25, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
