RIPTON, VT — A Rochester man was arrested on a drunken driving charge following a single-vehicle crash on Friday morning.
Jeremiah Bindrum, 53, of Rochester, was taken into custody after troopers responded to a crash on Vermont Route 125 near College Cross Road at approximately 8:13 a.m.
Troopers said Bindrum was identified as the operator of the vehicle and exhibited signs of impairment.
Following an investigation, Bindrum was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence, first offense.
He was transported to the New Haven Barracks for processing and released with a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division of Addison County on March 2 at 12:30 p.m.
