CONCORD, VT — A New Hampshire man was arrested on a drunken driving charge after his pickup truck went off the road and became stuck in a snowbank.
Francisco Lopez, 52, of Lancaster, New Hampshire, was taken into custody at approximately 4:01 p.m. Feb. 13, 2026, on North Concord Road.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to a report of a pickup truck off the roadway.
Upon arrival, troopers located a white Ford F-150 off the road, stuck in a snowbank.
While speaking with Lopez, troopers observed indicators of impairment.
Following further investigation, Lopez was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence.
Lopez was transported to the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
He was issued a citation to appear in Essex County Superior Court at a later date.
This is Lopez’s second DUI offense.
