FAIR HAVEN, VT — A Fair Haven woman was arrested early Thursday morning following a reported stabbing on West Street.
Kayla A. Muzzy, 38, of Fair Haven, was taken into custody after police responded to a call at 3:20 a.m. for a reported stabbing.
Police said Muzzy got into a physical altercation with a household member and allegedly stabbed the person, resulting in serious injury.
The victim was transported to the hospital and later released with non-life threatening injuries.
Muzzy was charged with first-degree aggravated domestic assault.
She was lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional facility, where she was ordered held without bail.
Muzzy was scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
