CLINTON, MA — A multi-agency search Thursday night located a person in crisis in a wooded area near the International Golf Course.
The Clinton Public Safety Dispatch Center was notified after 8 p.m. of an individual in crisis in the area off Lancaster Road, Fox Run and the grounds of the International Golf Course.
Clinton Police Department officers arrived within minutes and formed a perimeter around the wooded area.
The Massachusetts State Police K-9 Unit and Clinton Police Drone Unit were immediately requested, along with mutual aid from Lancaster and Bolton police departments.
The State Police Airwing helicopter responded to the scene a short time later, along with uniformed troopers to assist with the search.
With assistance and information provided by the drones and the helicopter, the individual was located on the property of the International Golf Course.
Officers used the information obtained to locate and reach the person to provide help.
The individual was later transported to a local hospital.
