Man sought in shoplifting case in Waterford

WATERFORD, CT — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of shoplifting from Best Buy.

The incident occurred on Feb. 7, 2026 at 12:25 p.m., according to the Waterford Police Department.

Police said the man entered the store and selected a keyboard valued at $99.99.

He tampered with the box and packaging, damaging the item in the process, police said.

The man then selected a second keyboard valued at $119.99 and left the store without paying, according to police.
