Woman arrested on burglary charge in Clifton Park

CLIFTON PARK, NY — A woman was arrested Tuesday on charges of burglary and petit larceny.

Tammy D. Samuels, 63, of Schenectady, was arrested on a warrant issued by Clifton Park Town Court, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Samuels is accused of knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully in a building with intent to commit a crime.

She allegedly went into Market 32 on state Route 146 on June 13 after having been previously formally noticed that she was prohibited from being on the premises.

Samuels is also accused of stealing merchandise from the store at that time.

She was charged with burglary in the third degree, a class D felony, and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.

Samuels was arraigned before the Honorable Jennifer Jeram in Clifton Park Town Court.

She was returned to the Schenectady County Jail where she was being held on a separate matter pending further proceedings in Clifton Park Town Court.
