MADISON, ME — The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office executed a drug search warrant at a residence on Naomi Avenue on Tuesday morning.

The warrant was obtained after a month-long investigation by the Criminal Division with assistance from area citizens into alleged drug sales from the residence.

Detectives and patrol deputies executed the search warrant at approximately 9:30 a.m.

During the search, authorities located a small amount of fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with a larger amount of other suspected illegal drugs awaiting testing, numerous controlled pills, digital scales, drug packaging material and drug-related documentation.

Allison Brown, 42, of Madison, was arrested and initially charged with possession of scheduled drugs, a Class D offense.

Brown’s bail was set at $60 cash.

Matthew Reilly, 35, of Skowhegan, was arrested and initially charged with possession of scheduled drugs with priors, a Class C offense.

Reilly was also arrested on a probation hold and is currently on probation for unlawful possession of fentanyl powder.

Reilly is being held without bail.

Both Brown and Reilly have initial court dates set for July 8, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at Somerset County Unified Criminal Court.

Additional charges may be filed once the seized items are tested and weighed and the case is reviewed by the Somerset County District Attorney’s Office.
